MY-437 Solvent Scrubber
Reduces solvent usage by up to 40% over flushing with straight solvent.

Major Features:
- Operates from plant air supply & solvent supplies
- Solvent supply feeds directly into the valve internal flow control
- Output cleaning pressure adjustable from supplied manual regulator
- Adjusts internally for cleaning volume changes
Results:
- Geatly reduced solvent
- Corresponding reduction of wastel
- Cleaner equipment
- Fewer equipment repairs
- Faster color change
- Greater quality
- Better environmental audits
- Higher first pass yields
- Lower costs
- Better profits
Cleaning Paint Lines with Solvent:
As shown below, cleaning liquid paint lines with only solvent wastes volumes. Figure 1 illustrates the less viscous solvent tunneling through the paint line. Once tunneling occurs the solvent slowly removes paint from the outer walls until the line is clean. The center of the solvent column has no cleaning effect. Typically 60% of the solvent passing through the paint line is wasted because there no contact with the paint (figure 2).

Cleaning Paint Lines Using Autoquip Solvent Scrubber Technology:
The unique design of the Autoquip Solvent Scrubber uses air to push much of the coating out of the line prior to adding solvent (figure 3). The partially evacuated paint line provides a more turbulent path for more efficient cleaning. Finally, the Autoquip Solvent Scrubber injects mixed air and solvent particles together which gather droplets of coating and carry the coating out of the paint line (figure 4) resulting is a huge reduction in solvent usage, less color carry over and or remaining dirt in the paint line.
